The Arthur Rylah Institute for Environmental Research is a Government run centre for applied ecological research which has been operating at its Heidelberg facility for more than forty years.
The purchase of an adjoining tennis club led to FPPV Architecture undertaking masterplanning work at the site.
Rationalization has led to the construction of a new Meeting/Conference Room and a more accessible Entry Foyer. A new Boat Maintenance Shed was constructed and an existing shed structure converted to a new Library. The new and upgraded facilities have given the opportunity to apply state of the art sustainability and accessibility solutions within the context of the ageing building stock.
