FPPV Architecture comprises a team of skilled and capable staff. When it comes to design ethic, FPPV believes in evidenced best practice. FPPV staff are active in a number of peak body organisations to ensure a grounding in current design standards. Further to this, Paul Viney, founding director, in collaboration with Guide Dogs Victoria and Ian Potter Foundation, completed an international study tour to review international best practice in design for vision impairment. FPPV Architecture strongly believe that design should reflect contemporary practices and that innovation should build on proven design solutions.

FPPV Architecture was formed in 1988 and has been practicing for over 30 years. We have extensive experience in the delivery of strategic, architectural and interior design projects and our staff are experience with the design and documentation of Police facilities.
FPPV maintains a core of experienced staff and professionals. To this, we introduce enthusiastic quality graduates and new professional associations. We offer energy, maturity and objectivity in a creative, close working relationship.

When it comes to design ethic, FPPV strongly believes in evidenced best practice. Paul Viney, founding director, has recently completed two study tours. The first, in collaboration with Guide Dogs Victoria and Ian Potter Foundation, reviewed international best practice in design for vision impairment. The second, undertaken with UCI Projects, took place in Japan and South-East Asia, and covered the current approaches to office design - the focus now moving away from open plan and toward activity-based design.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
FPPV is a Quality Assured company and has established written procedures to ensure that all projects are undertaken in methodical manner to minimize the risk of error during all phases of project delivery. Our quality management system has external certification against ISO 9001:2015. Obtaining and maintaining certification against this standard requires a commitment to continual improvement and the system is subject to periodic external audits.
RISK MANAGEMENT
FPPV operational policy is to apply current AS/NZ standards pertinent to project output. With particular reference to Risk Management our project managers refer to AS/NZS 4360:2004, which specifies clear procedures related to:

• Risk management process
• Documentation
During the delivery of projects FPPV will review matters relating to project risk and adopt strategies to mitigate potential risks which may affect time, cost or quality.
FINANCIAL VIABILITY
FPPV have been in business since 1988 and applied conservative management practices that have kept the practice in a solid financial position. The company operates on an equity basis which has enabled FPPV to operate without an overdraft since its inception.
