Georgi Fairley

Master of Architecture

Georgi has been practising architecture with FPPV Architecture since 2011, having completed both her Bachelor of Arts (Architecture) and Master of Architecture degrees at Deakin University. While studying, Georgi worked with an industrial designer, drafting and documenting projects for various applications.

Since joining FPPV, Georgi has worked on many government, commercial and institutional projects. Experienced in all aspects of project delivery, from pre-design briefings through to contract administration and project completion, Georgi has the capacity to deliver high-quality outcomes. For over a year, Georgi was seconded to the Department of Parliamentary Services as a project manager within the Parliamentary Precinct. In this role, she gained experience from a client perspective, administering and organising the various aspects of large and small projects and coordinating management in a team environment.

In addition to her work at FPPV, Georgi sits on the Victorian Chapter Committee for Learning Environments Australasia (LEA). In 2021 she was nominated to the position of Chair-Elect. LEA promotes quality design in learning spaces and professional development among a community of educators, designers, and decision-makers. Georgi is also a board member for the place-based philanthropic organisation, the Fairley Foundation. The Foundation’s mission is to drive momentous social and cultural change within the Shepparton area. Combining these two roles has furthered Georgi’s interest in education and access to resources in regional and rural Australia.

Georgi has a particular interest in designing and delivering educational facilities, integrating architecture with landscape design, and graphic communication.
