The office fit-out for Faculty of Business & Economics staff, is an adaptive re-use of a heritage building. The Level 3 fit-out exposes original structural columns and soffit and services, providing sense of space with additional height. It includes suspended acoustic panels and space dividing screens and natural light form three directions. Open plan workstations were adopted for all staff including executive staff in order to maximise occupancy. This has been supplemented with meeting rooms, collaborative furniture, working spaces, acoustic booths and staff breakout areas.
