The Catholic Parish of Ivanhoe commissioned FPPV in 2008 to undertake a Facilities Master Plan relating to Parish property assets. The Parish has considerable land and building assets located in the three original parish localities of Ivanhoe West, Ivanhoe and Ivanhoe East. The Parish wished to move forward into the future with a clear vision and strategy. The undertaking of a Parish Master Plan was to focus on the future of the Parish, embracing many aspects of parish life.
These considerations include the welfare of it’s priests, parishioners, older persons, families, youth and it’s children. Other aspects of parish life being considered include worship, faith development, pastoral care and education.
In 2016, FPPV was engaged by the Parish to redevelop the Mary Immaculate Church site to provide a central worship space, community space and to improve financially stability by the redevelopment being partially self-funding. A scheme was developed which met the Parish’s needs, however did not come to fruition.
Again, FPPV were appointed by Catholic Parish of Ivanhoe in 2019 to redevelop the site to have one Parish Centre as a place of worship, gathering, administration, community support, interaction and mission.
