Essendon Football Club, (EFC) was delivered by a consortium under a D&C Contract arrangement. The partnership included EFC, Australian Paralympic Committee, Melbourne Airport Authority, Pure Projects (project mgr.) and FPPV Architecture/Jackson Architecture in association. The Essendon Football Club High Performance Training Centre includes a state of the art gym, large indoor training area, basketball court, altitude training centre, simulation training area and 25m training pool with aquatic recovery areas. Medical and sports science facilities are also part of the office spaces within the complex as are sports administration for the football club and Australian Paralympic Committee. The club sees Essendon football players and paralympians training together at the facility.
