The Media Studio is recording space for a mixture of online lectures, live interviews and podcasting. FPPV undertook detailed stakeholder engagement to achieve the level of adaptability required.

The studio space was designed as an adaptable shell, with the ability to rearrange as needed, and with a smaller control room that also serves as an editing space or a standalone podcast room.

The onset of the COVID pandemic fast-tracked the podcast space, with main works completed and temporary screens and facilities provided to support the move to fully online services.

The University has since undertaken a detailled equipment fitout which includes a standalone lighting and equipment rig.
