This large Government project included the technically complex State Emergency Control Centre.
Following the February 2009 bushfires, FPPV were further commissioned to undertake an interior refurbishment and upgrade. This resulted in the now named State Control Centre – the primary control centre for state-wide emergencies.
The design was based on AIM/ISC Emergency Management Systems that established expandable cells for each AIMS / ICS Element (i.e. Media/Logistics/Planning/Operations etc), and focused on creating a fully autonomous centre with separate mechanical & electrical systems, generator back up and specialised Data Centre
