Mitchell Shire Council engaged FPPV Architecture to reconfigure and upgrade the existing amenities at the Kings Park Pavilion. Working within a limited budget, the project focused on addressing the outdated and ad hoc nature of the existing facilities while delivering fully compliant, accessible, and functional spaces. A key outcome was the maximisation of toilet numbers, alongside the introduction of a dedicated family shower and change area, as well as new male and female toilets and showers.

Among the most noticeable improvements were the replacement of the old open shower area with private cubicles, and the application of a durable epoxy floor finish to unify and modernise the previously inconsistent and aging floor surfaces.
