The revitalization of the MLS Graduate Lounge has transformed the space into a welcoming and multifunctional hub for students and staff. Designed to enhance both social and academic interactions, the refurbishment introduced a new catering kitchen alongside an inviting student kitchenette, providing improved amenities for daily use and special events.

The lounge now features an abstracted world map pin-board, fostering engagement and connectivity, while new adjustable lighting and contemporary occasional furniture allow the space to accommodate a variety of student and staff functions with flexibility and ease.

In response to evolving needs, underutilized areas were reconfigured to create two meeting rooms that meet UoM standards, enhancing opportunities for collaboration and private discussions. Additionally, an expanded meeting room offers subtle transparency to the Student Lounge foyer, reinforcing openness and accessibility within the space.

This thoughtfully upgraded environment strengthens the Law School’s commitment to community, learning, and professional engagement, providing a refined setting for study, connection, and collaboration.
