Seymour War Memorial Outdoor Pool

Change Room Upgrades

Mitchell Shire Council

2024

Lesley Street Seymour, VIC 3660

Traditional Custodians: Taungurung

The existing amenities at Seymour Memorial Pool required significant upgrade works following water damage caused by the Seymour floods in 2022. As part of the rectification process, FPPV Architecture was engaged to restore and enhance the damaged facilities, ensuring they met current standards for functionality, durability, and user comfort.

The scope of works included the replacement of all affected fittings and fixtures within the male and female change rooms, introducing modern, low-maintenance materials suited to the high-use environment. In addition, a new roof structure was constructed over the change rooms to provide improved weather protection and enhance the overall longevity of the facility. These upgrades not only addressed the immediate flood damage but also contributed to the long-term resilience and usability of the pavilion.
