Project Procurement Methodology
Paul is a founding Director of FPPV Architecture. A highly experienced architect, he is an expert at brief development, feasibility studies and project programming. Paul works closely with clients, focusing on relationships and clear communication, to define the project objectives from the outset. These objectives then provide key reference points to ensure that projects remain on track and brief throughout. Paul has a breadth of experience covering a range of project types and requirements. These include the coordination, design, documentation, and delivery of commercial, government, institutional, industrial, critical, residential, and building systems projects.
As the architect responsible for writing the brief and undertaking several master plans for the completion of the Victorian Parliament House, Paul has an excellent understanding of design complexity. From this and other multi-headed projects, Paul has developed proficiency in managing projects with multiple stakeholders and user groups. In addition, Paul has expertise in a range of complex projects, including critical infrastructure projects for both the private and public sectors. These include the State Operations Centre, the Emergency coordination Centre, the Police Operations Centre, and the primary Data Centre for the University of Melbourne.
Paul has highly developed communication and project coordination skills and is a specialist project manager. He has been particularly successful in managing and delivering projects in occupied buildings, with tight programmes and budgets, and several stages.
